Response: Catholic politician supports hESC research 9

When I saw this article I was very intrigued. I myself am Catholic, and I wanted to see where other people that are in my religion stand on the hESC research idea. However, this article did not provide much information. All I discovered was that Christ did support hESC research under the terms of President Bush (who is in the republican party, as is Christ).

The article was pretty disappointing, but it's made me interested to look into other articles with the same theme. And hopefully there will be more news on the polls developing that I can follow through with.

Notes: Catholic politician supports hESC research 9

Florida Gov. Charlie Christ is almost even in the polls with republican Mark Rubio.
Rubio has 43% of the poll votes, as of today.
Christ isn't the clear candidate due to the way he offended many people in the conservative party earlier this year.
he endorsed Obama's $787 billion economic stimulus package.
he supported the ban on partial-birth abortion
Christ initially described himself as pro-choice, but this was not demonstrated when he vetoed a $500,000 cut to crisis pregnancy centers.
he's also supported the research of hESCs after later describing himself as pro-life.

Christ approved stem cell research under the terms and conditions set when Bush was in office.

Both Rubio and Christ are Catholic politicians, a comment posted on the article supports Rubio because they do not feel that Christ has followed through with the image he's portrayed in past campaigns.
